The Mediterranean Diet Foundation (FDM) is a non profit organization with a strictly scientific and cultural agenda, whose main objective is the safeguarding of the millennium old heritage shared by the populations of the Mediterranean basin, whose philosophy of life, food and culinary traditions have awakened the interest of eminent scientists from around the globe in the last few decades due to its role in the prevention of numerous diseases. To accomplish this, the FDM promotes the investigation and dissemination of the many health advantages of the Mediterranean Diet and the Mediterranean lifestyle.
