Consumer workshops
Similar to the children’s workshops, it is aimed at consumer associations, housewife associations, parents associations, etc., being held in cooking schools or hotels with demonstration kitchens.
Objectives: To give tips for maintaining a balanced diet with Mediterranean products, and advise attendees on the right purchases and product knowledge, as well as their affordability. Convince that eating well is not expensive.
Methodology: The workshops are taught by a chef and an assistant as well as an expert nutritionist who gives a lecture on the Mediterranean Diet, the importance of eating right and answers questions from the audience. A recipe book is given to assistants, that includes the 10 principles of the Mediterranean Diet.
