Physical activity and adherence to the Mediterranean Diet increases total antioxidant capacity: the ATTICA study.

A study in the Greek region of Attica has measured the antioxidant capacity of over 3000 adults towards their level of physical activity adherence to the Mediterranean Diet (with MedDietScore: score that assesses the degree of adherence to the diet .) The results show evidence that a higher level of physical activity and following the Mediterranean Diet, people have greater antioxidant capacity.
