During the VIII Barcelona International Congress on the Mediterranean Diet that will be held on March 24th and 25th, 2010, within the framework of the International Food and Beverage Exhibition Alimentaria 2010, the Mediterranean Diet Foundation will be holding the first Practical Workshop on Dietary interviews and Basic Anthropometry, applied to the practice.

The entrance to the workshop is included with the registration to the Congress.

The main objective of this workshop is to provide professional assistants with strategies to the everyday practice, as well as practical and useful tools for an adequate management of the person at the office.

This theoretical-practical workshop will be taught in two sessions lasting 2 hours.

The workshop will be taught by two renown professionals from the food and nutrition world; Lucia Bultó, Dietician from the Couselling Centre in Dietetics and Nutrition D-N, and Imma Palma, Doctor in Biology, Dietician and Professor of the Department of Nutrition and Food Science, School of Pharmacy, University of Barcelona.

During the workshop, attendees will be provided with documentation on the various issues discussed, in order to supplement training.
